1. Introduction
Welcome to ChokChok (the "App"), a K-beauty routine tracker developed by Yohei Onishi ("Developer"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use our App.
2. Data Storage: All Local, No Servers
ChokChok stores all data exclusively on your device. We do not operate any servers, cloud storage, or databases that collect, store, or access your information. This includes:
- Daily routine checklists and streaks
- Selfie photos and diary entries
- Product information and expiration dates
- Any notes or personal data you enter
All data remains under your complete control and is deleted from your device when you uninstall the App.
3. What We Don't Collect
ChokChok does not:
- Collect any personal information (name, email, phone, etc.)
- Track your behavior, routine patterns, or habits
- Use analytics, crash reporting, or event tracking
- Share any data with third parties for marketing or profiling
- Access your location, contacts, calendar, or other device data
- Require account creation or login
4. App Permissions: Camera & Photo Library
ChokChok requests two permissions on iOS:
- Camera: To allow you to take selfies directly in the App for your beauty routine diary.
- Photo Library: To allow you to select existing photos from your device to use in the App.
These permissions are used solely on your device and do not result in any data transmission. Photos remain on your device and can be deleted at any time through the App or by removing them from the App data.
5. In-App Purchases
ChokChok is free and contains no in-app purchases or subscriptions. Every feature is available to every user. Because nothing is sold, no billing or payment information is involved, and no payment or subscription service receives any data from the App.
6. Children's Privacy
ChokChok is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has used the App, we will take steps to comply with applicable laws, including COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act).
7. Security
Since all data is stored locally on your device, the security of your data depends on your device's operating system security and your own device settings. We recommend:
- Keeping your iOS device updated
- Using a strong device passcode
- Enabling Face ID or Touch ID on your device
8. Third-Party Services
No third-party service receives any data from the App.
The App does not use:
- Payment or subscription services
- Google Analytics or similar tracking tools
- Firebase or other cloud platforms
- Ad networks or marketing platforms
- Crash reporting tools
9. Data Deletion
You have full control over your data:
- Delete individual items: Remove routines, photos, or products directly in the App.
- Delete all App data: Uninstall the App from your device. All data will be permanently deleted.
10. Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of this policy indicates the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
11. GDPR & Data Subject Rights
If you are a resident of the European Union or United Kingdom and have questions about your data rights under GDPR, or if you wish to exercise your right to access, correct, or delete your data, please contact:

Note: Since all data is stored locally on your device and we do not collect or store any data, there is no centralized data for us to access or delete on our end.
12. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to request:
- What personal information we have collected about you
- The purposes for which we use it
- Deletion of your personal information
